Robert Riley's Multiple Myeloma Cancer Treatment

In November, just two weeks before the birth of his first child Lulu, Robert was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma - which is plasma cancer. The cancer is in his lung, liver and brain. He has had surgery once to remove the larger tumor in his lymph system and the other spots will be treated with chemo. There is no current cure for this type of cancer but the doctors are confident that it can be put into remission
Robert's hospital bills already top $15,000.  Chemo treatments that he takes twice a week are $1,300 out of pocket  ($2,600 each week).  This is also twice a week that he is unable to work, losing an average of 5-8 hours of work per week.

In May, Robert will undergo Stem Cell Transplant Therapy which requires that he stay on site for several weeks in Atlanta.  He will need 24 hour care meaning that Kate will be in Atlanta too.  Their income will be reduced to nothing as his insurance is denying any claim for disability as a "pre-existing condition".  The out of pocket cost for the treatment alone will run into the 10s of thousands of dollars.  
All of this adds up to a serious financial crisis for this young family.  This GoFundMe will help them pay some of the medical bills that are rolling in.
