Robert Peak's Journey for New Lungs

Donation protected
They say life is a journey and you never know where it will take you or what hurdles you have to overcome. Bob has been on one heck of a journey for the last 16 months and here is his story.
Bob was hospitalized several days in Nov 2015 for an infection to his arm, he was discharged home on IV antibiotics. Bob continued to fight the infection but had a very rare side effect and was admitted to ICU 10 days later in respiratory failure. Bob has been oxygen dependent ever since. Bob's arm has healed after 4 surgeries, however; despite his aggressive pulmonary rehab his lungs have not.
Bob was officially listed with UNOS for a double lung transplant and is awaiting a call. The surgery will take place in Tucson and will require hospitalization and temporary relocation for about a month.
Bob is a close friend and family to MANY of us. This go fund me account will help offset the costs that are not covered by insurance such as  the added expense of temporary housing in Tucson.
Bob and Lisa are very blessed to have a great network of friends and family that together with God... all will work out according to His great plan.
