We are raising to help the O'Toole family with a recent medical emergency.
on June 18, 2019, Robert suffered a Heart Attack
Robert was hospitalized for :
Cardiac arrest ( his heart stopped 3 times ) with ventricular fibrillation( life -threatening heart rhythm triggered by a heart attack )
As a result:
-Systolic heart failure(The heart couldn't pump with enough force to push enough blood into circulation)
-Acute pulmonary embolism (blood clot in lung );
-Shock liver( injury caused by insufficient blood flow )
He was in induced coma for 3 days.
When he woke up his EF - ejection fraction of the heart ( ability to pump ) was only 25 % =heart failure
Just in 2 days EF of the heart from 25%went to 50% !!!!!!
normal ejection fraction(EF) ranges from 60% to 70%
a long recovery period is in front ,involving a lot !
