My father-in-law was diagnosed with lung and brain cancer on 5/12/2025. He had emergency surgery on 5/16/2025 to remove the ping-pong ball-sized mass on his brain in order to relieve swelling and pressure.

While the surgeons are confident they got every bit of the brain tumor, there is still a mass on his lungs that requires treatment. Right now, he's awaiting a formal diagnosis as to what type and stage of cancer it is.

Robert has worked for himself for the past 15 years running his own one-man-show fencing and outdoor construction company (Robert W. Fustin LLC). As a result, he does not have any medical insurance to fall back on and cannot currently work at the capacity he has previously.

Emergency room visits, brain surgery, and the upcoming chemo treatments are all very expensive, and the bills for these procedures are starting to arrive and will continue for the foreseeable future. While Robert plans to go back to work as soon as he is cleared to do so, right now he is struggling to find a source of income to help pay down his medical expenses.

Any support is greatly appreciated, and it will go almost directly to paying for the various procedures and treatments he's had and will need going forward.
