After a long and hard fought battle with a rare cancer, Robert was taken to be with the Lord on January 25th, 2021. Robert was an amazing person inside and out. He always had everyone's back and really cared about everyone he came in contact with. He was always referred to as the Gentle Giant and went out of his way to ask how you were even when he was not feeling his best. He will leave a void in both his families lives and those he worked with. Robert had a love for music and family. He was able to use those talents in his job. He always went the extra mile for everyone he was involved with.
A graduate of Middletown High School, Robert enjoyed marching band, drum line, jazz band, and drum corp. He studied music at Frederick Community College and was a talented percussionist and an outstanding jazz drummer. Being an avid musician, Robert also explored the world of audio/video design and worked as a manufacture representative for the Sigmet Corporation family. Robert used his musical talents and audio education for his home church, Burnside First Church of God, devoting his heart in helping and serving others.
However, Robert’s greatest talent was his ability to communicate and connect with individuals and to appreciate people on all levels. A devoted husband and father, his favorite subject of conversation was always his family and the many activities they enjoyed together from planting a garden to raising chickens, from restoring a ’71 Beetle to family trips.
We are raising these funds to help his family offset the financial strain that they will face due to his absence.
