Hello, my name is Kyla Fortier, and I am reaching out on behalf of the family of Robert Mischuk. It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden and tragic passing of my uncle, Robert Mischuk. Rob was a beloved son, father, uncle, friend, papa, husband, and brother, and his passing has left a deep void in our lives.

Rob was a man of many talents and passions, known for his love of fishing, woodworking, cars, and planes. His dream of flying became a reality when he piloted his own aircraft, a testament to his adventurous spirit and determination. He had a unique personality, with a laugh that you couldn’t forget, and a tough exterior that hid a deeply caring and loving heart.

Rob was well known within the communities of Swan Hills and Slave Lake, where his presence was a cornerstone. Despite the happiness he shared with others, he was silently battling inner struggles that many were unaware of. His passing is a stark reminder of the importance of mental health awareness showing that even in the happiest of times, we can never truly know what someone may be going through.

The suddenness of Rob’s passing has brought with it unexpected financial burdens. His wife, Debbie, and family are now facing these challenges, and we are reaching out to our community for support.
