Support for Robert Michael Taylor's Family

Donation protected
The people in the picture above are three of my favorite people in the world. They are my sister Deana, her husband Rob, and their beautiful daughter Alicia. I chose this picture of them because it is such a wonderful representation of their family. The three of them, always together, full of love, laughter, and fun. The only unusual thing about the picture is that Rob is in the forefront. Normally, he would be standing behind them in “protection mode”, keeping them safe and allowing them the space to be whatever they needed to be.

On January 10, 2023, Rob was diagnosed with lung cancer, and in nine short months, it spread throughout his body. From the moment he was diagnosed, Rob promised his family he would fight, and he put everything he had into doing that. He remained positive and he was an inspiration to everyone around him. He continued to love and provide for his family, serve as a roadie and production coordinator at his church, and do TaeKwonDo until his body no longer allowed him to do so. Losing his fight was something that Rob did not entertain. We all held out for a miracle with him.

Rob was a beautiful, gentle soul. He wasn’t flashy and he wasn’t pushy. He quietly walked through life with strength and integrity. Most of all he walked as an example of love. He took care of anyone who was fortunate enough to come into his path. He always had a kind word and a beautiful smile that warms the heart. Rob was consistent, reliable, and honest. I can’t express all of who he is in this setting, but all that he was, was wrapped in his incredible version of love. I am, and always will be, so honored and proud to call him my brother, not my brother-in-law, but my brother.

It breaks my heart to write this, but on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 8:45 am Rob lost his battle with cancer.

Rob and Deana were married for nineteen years. Throughout his battle, he continued to provide for my sister and their daughter. Deana took time off from her job to walk through the battle by Rob's side caring for him in every way until the end. I am starting this Go Fund Me in order to provide my sister with help to honor Rob properly and room financially to figure out how to navigate life without Rob’s provision for her and Alicia.

All donations will go directly to my sister and her daughter.
