Robert was an architect, a devoted husband, a lover of music and the arts, an avid runner, and generous colleague. During his career Robert worked at prestigious New York City firms such as Richard Dattner and Partners, and Rogers Marvel Architects. Over the past several years Robert was an Administrative Architect with the New York City Department of Design and Construction. His work ethic, dedication to his craft and his caring spirit has helped to transform New York City into happier and safer place to live.
Robert was a kind and giving colleague, with a great sense of humor. He respected other’s accomplishments and was truly respected. Robert made others better by example. He will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.
Robert was a New Yorker through and through. He lived, studied and practiced in New York City his entire life. To honor Robert's memory we are raising money to have a New York City street tree planted in his name so that he can continue to help contribute to the health and well being of the city that he was an integral part of.
If the fund raising goal is not met, the entirety of the contributions will go towards his favorite charity, Doctors Without Borders. Any extra contributions will go to this charity as well.
Donations will be managed by myself and a close group of his colleagues and progress updates will be posted to this page.
