This is a very hard post to write, but it is one that has become unavoidable. Our dear friend and family member, Robert Bailey, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in 2020, at the age of 42. Over the next two years the cancer metastasized to his brain and his liver, which caused his liver enzymes to become too high. His liver then failed and because of this, doctors could no longer treat the cancer. He was put on hospice and his girlfriend, Stephanie Johnson-Travalini, was with him at home, keeping him as comfortable as possible. He spent this time with his daughter and family. Bailey's suffering ended Wednesday, February 16, after his long battle and he is now resting peacefully. Robert's love for life was almost as large as his love for his daughter, Tyler. When he wasn't spending time with his family, he was enjoying his other passion which was coaching youth football. He was very involved with the Pleasant Hill Falcon Youth Football Organization. He loved helping and mentoring children and did so until he absoutley couldn't anymore. He leaves behind his 12 year old daughter, Tyler and his longtime girlfriend, Stephanie Jonhson-Travalini. The family would like everyone to know that they are very thankful for all the love, prayers, and support. They are trying to keep up with any posts and phone calls as much as they can, but it is very difficult to do that right now, as you can imagine. While the family understand things have been difficult for everyone recently, they are asking if you can, to please give a small donation to go toward future expenses. If you can't donate, we ask if you could kindly share this post, it would be so greatly appreciated. Please say a prayer for them in this time of grief.
