As many of you know, Robert was diagnosed with emphysema and heart disease a few years ago.  Emphysema is a degenerative disease of the lungs. His doctors have now referred him to palliative care in hopes to make him as comfortable as possible since he is at the end stages of emphysema.  Typically at this point, it is known that he doesn't have a lot of time left.
