Robert Lutzenhiser has always been that guy that reminds us how important our lives are. He reminds us that having a sense of humor adds balance in life and is critical to our well being. He reminds us that our society puts more priority on money, possessions, and degrees rather than love, life, and treating each other fairly. If you have ever sat down to have a conversation with Robert you know how quickly Robert can suddenly make the conversation into something much more than what you expected and you may find yourself weeks later reflecting on what you have discussed. Robert is almost hard to put down in words because there just isn’t anyone like him. He goes above and beyond to protect everyone he loves and to help them through whatever they may be going through. Robert and Kate are the perfect tag team and there is no one like them in this community. If you know them you know how important they are to us and to our community.
Robert Lutzenhiser was hospitalized from complications from a colonoscopy that led him to being flown to Seattle. Robert is now facing Coronary stents. Once Robert successfully goes through surgery he can get on a list for a liver transplant. Some of you may not be aware that Robert was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cirrhosis a little over a year ago. Robert is a fighter and him and Kate need our help with medical expenses as well as expenses for Kate staying in Seattle to support him.
Robert and Kate Lutzenhiser have graciously helped and supported the Stevensville community for over thirty years. It's our turn to return the favor.
A little background on Robert and Kate. Robert and Kate have been making jewelry together since 1989. They have been on Main Street in Stevensville, MT for over 30 years and quickly established and invested into every First Friday until the Pandemic hit. Nearly every First Friday they brought in a local musician to support the local arts. First Fridays were always a gathering of new and old friends and I know Robert and Kate can't wait to have one again.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and we do plan on having a fundraiser in June as well.
