Robert L. Williams, Jr. Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
As you may be aware, my father passed after a long and remarkable fight with cancer on April 24th, 2021. October 9th would've marked his 71st birthday. If you find it in your heart, please take a look at and consider a donation to this Memorial Fund set up for my Father. I plan to split the donations between the American Cancer Societies associated with each of the four cancers that afflicted him: Bone, Kidney, Lung, and Pancreatic.
My father taught me to always practice gratitude; he'd say it's one of the few things you can speak into existence. No matter who you are reading this, I want to thank you, because the past few months have been an immense challenge for me. The first few weeks, it felt like I was emotionally under water, drowning in a sea of questions and pain that seemed like it would never end. Sometimes, that overwhelming feeling still takes over. There's still days that I wake up or go to bed crying at the thought of how much I miss my father. But I take solace in the people, places, and opportunities around me that continue to push me forward. This is why I give thanks to you all, because I'm not sure where I'd be without the people who've reached out over the past few months.
Thank you for your time. My father had a thing for what he called "Four-letter words," the most important of which, he'd say, is "Love." He had love for everyone he encountered, and I'll do everything I can to love you all as well.
p.s. If you're not comfortable donating via the link but would like to contribute, please send me a private message and we can discuss other options.
