I am here today to help my Brother, Robert Kolar.  Robert was recently diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of liver cancer.  Robert is 59 years old.  He is preparing start a new experimental treatment, with hope of beating this deadly cancer.  The first trial will be at the Cleveland Clinic with plans of heading to Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as a thrid-line option.  Standard chemotherapy did not work.  This certainly is not the news anyone would want after the difficult year we have all just had.

Robert lives with our brother George who was diagnosed with severe Schizophrenia many years ago.  He has devoted fifteen years helping George with every aspect of life.  Robert has dedicated endless hours for charity and was even honored by the local Red Cross for helping save others after a fire broke out at his apartment that he lived in years ago.  Robert has spent most of his adult life caring for his family and others, all with selflessness and a special kindness, now it our turn to take care of him.

Robert has been employed at a small machine shop and truly loves his work.  He is currently unable to work due to his health and intense treatments.  He is going to need help with medical bills, rent, utilities, and other cancer therapies not covered by insurance.  Any donation will make a direct impact, to obtain the best care possible, the best cutting edge medicine, and lighten his immediate financial burden to allow him to focus on his own survival.
