Our family recently experienced devastating flooding in Palm Bay that caused significant damage to our home and belongings. Four vehicles were affected, along with our walls, furniture, couches, beds, bedding, appliances, electronics, and other household necessities. Much of our food was also lost, and several items were damaged beyond repair and had to be thrown away.

Unfortunately, we had decided not to renew our flood insurance in preparation for the end of hurricane season and never anticipated flooding of this magnitude. As a result, we are facing these unexpected expenses entirely on our own.

We understand that everyone has their own financial responsibilities, and we don’t want anyone to feel obligated to give. We simply wanted to share our situation and provide an opportunity for those who are willing and able to help.
