Hello,
My name is Robert J.D. Proverb. I am a Ph.D. candidate in sociology in my final semester of school. I am disabled - and I'm low on funds. Please read a little more about me!
I study at The New School for Social Research (NSSR) in New York City, where I've received academic tuition scholarships, the Arthur Vidich scholarship, and the Holocaust Memorial scholarship. I have co-authored 2 papers presented nationally, and authored one paper presented internationally. I earned my MA in 2011 with a GPA of 3.84. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University in 2009.
My schooling process has been a challenge due to narcolepsy and other disability-related health issues. The school gives 10 years' time to complete the Ph.D., but I have been allowed two final semesters to finish my degree. Student loans and other forms of financial aid are no longer available to me because of federal student borrowing law time limits. This leaves me in the awkward position of being unable to pay for tuition for my final semester of school. I am so close...
So, friends, I need help. My tuition is going to be approximately $2000. Anything you can contribute would be appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you,
Robert
