Robert J. Nawrath SNT Fund in Memory of James
Donation protected
Thursday, September 3rd 2020, a day after his 48th birthday, James R. Nawrath suddenly passed away from a bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism which is a blood clot in both lungs. It was also determined he had heart disease.
This is such a tremendous loss to all who knew him. James leaves behind his 14 year old son, Bobby. Bobby was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome, which is a genetic, craniofacial birth defect that is characterized by a range of distinctive facial anomalies. These anomalies can cause hearing, breathing, and eating problems. About 1 in 10,000 babies are born with this debilitating syndrome. These funds are needed to help Bobby with medical needs throughout his whole life.
In memory of James, and in lieu of flowers, his family & friends will be collecting funds through this GoFundMe because we know that James' wishes would be to keep his beloved son Bobby's medical needs fund going strong!
James was a stellar father and put Bobby above everything else. But James was only one half of Bobby's support system, which was intensified due to Bobby's condition. His sudden passing will create a lifetime of loss to Bobby's heart and all who knew and loved him. But James also provided with all his heart to Bobby's needs. No one can fill James' shoes but we have to help Bobby with all of our hearts now, so we are asking for help to try and bridge the gap that is now upon us all but most importantly Bobby for his lifetime of needs. We need to be the army behind Bobby and help ease his mom Kelly's worries of the unknown challenges ahead.
James was always the first one to jump in if someone was in need. It is our turn to help him now and honor his memory by keeping his legacy alive through his best friend; his son, Bobby. We appreciate anything that can be given, as the smallest amounts collectively would make a big impact.
