My father, Robert Patrick Hynes Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday December 13. He was a 55 year old hardworking and loving father and husband, and we miss him dearly.
Since he has passed, my family has been grieving but also we have been under a lot of stress questioning how we are going to survive financially. My father was the main source of income for my family.
Of course, there are typical funeral costs.
Our property taxes are due on the 31st of December.
We have bill coming in (phones, insurance, electric, gas, trash, school fees, mortgage, credit cards, etc)
We have groceries we need to be able to afford, as well as cat food for our 5 kitty cats my Dad loved so so dearly.
Most importantly, his younger daughter Emily (my sister) graduates high school in May and has been planning all her life on attending school for musical theatre in the fall. (Hear her sing here) . We want to make that happen without burying her in debt.
His wife of 23 years, Tara, is planning on going back to school when Emily goes off to college, so she can get a degree that will allow her to begin making a more constant income, but that is a year or more away.
We are a very humble and modest family who hates asking for any help, but we really really need all the help we can get right now. If you want to give anything, any amount, it will mean the world to all of us, especially this time of year.
A memorial has been planned for Wednesday December 21st at the Bogue Falaya Hall (317 N jefferson ave in Covington) from 10am-2pm.
