Robert Humble
Donation protected

Three months after he and his wife Heather Bell moved to Merrickville, Robert was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Brain Tumor and after undergoing two surgeries and 18 radiation treatments was given 4 months to live. Fifteen months later, with strong faith and a good atttitude, Robert is fighting to prove them wrong.
Robert has recently qualified to undergo an experimental laser surgery that will take place in Vancouver in early March.
A very generous member of the Merrickville community has purchased the airline tickets for Robert, Heather and a caregiver, but the high expenses do not stop there.
Robert's first surgery left him paralyzed and wheelchair bound, dependent on the assistance of a caregiver. That expense as well as the cost of the laser surgery itself which is not covered by OHIP, as well as accomodations and basic day-to-day living costs while they are in Vancouver, are all an incredible burden on Robert and Heather. They now should only have to use their energy to concentrate on making Robert comfortable, and saving his life.
Please consider giving what you can.
This wonderful couple have a beautiful love story, and I know you'll pray with me that their story can continue for many years to come.
