Robert Hatfield

Bob has worked with horses all his life and has been a mainstay at Churchill Downs for over 20 years. He has been a friend and entertained us all for years. The stories and laughs we have all had with him are endless apart from being a great rider on the easy and not so easy horses.
Bob has had a serious accident just outside Oaklawn Racetrack where he was working for the winter. He has serious head injury which is going to need a lot of rehabilitation firstly in a nursing home and then on to a rehab center and not to forget the massive hospital bills already incurred.
We ask his friends and the racing community that you please help the best you can. No matter the amount. It all helps!!
