Robert “Gogo” Gomez’s Memorial Fundraiser

Robert “Gogo” Gomez departed this Earth on March 30th leaving behind his beautiful wife Ruthie, his three amazing children, Mariah, Audrie, and Preston, his precocious grandson, Ryker, and his loving mother, siblings, family and loving friends. He was a hard worker, a proud Marine, a great neighbor, and he never met a stranger. He was generous with his words, his affection, his ears, his laugh, his snark, and his time. He would have never passed up an opportunity to help someone out, and he prided himself on being a provider for his family.

 

Over the last few months as Gogo battled cancer, his community has shown up for him and his family in countless ways that we are forever grateful for. Many people who love the Gomez 6 but were unable to support from afar have expressed a desire to do more for this beautiful family, and so we created this fundraiser as a way for us all to come together to help the Gomez’s weather this storm.

 

The final challenge we have is to bring Robert’s wishes for his final farewell to fruition. We also want to make sure that Ruthie and Preston are well provided for while we wait for final payments, retirement, death benefits, etc. Audrie is celebrating her graduation from CSUN in May as well, and we know Robert wanted to celebrate her accomplishments.
