Hi, my name is Kate and I own a business in Northwest Indiana called Balanced Health. At Balanced Health, I have the privilege of performing Craniosacral Therapy on all ages. I have had the honor of working on Robert. Robert is a 7-year-old neuroatypical pediatric client. Pediatric Craniosacral Therapy is foundational to this care. The aim of Craniosacral Therapy is to normalize the bones, sutures, and underlying membranes of the head and spine. The goal, additionally, is to assist in balancing aspects of the nervous system.
Robert's loving parents, Bob & Betty, have reached a wall with treatment for Robert:
Robert is a very sweet 7-year-old who is nonverbal and was diagnosed with autism at 3. This grew into a host of additional diagnoses, including ADHD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and Pica. We have spent the last several years seeking all therapies available to us, which is slowly helping, and have even turned to traditional medicines for the increase in behaviors. After two years of trial and error, we have had no success in finding the right fit.
But there is a new option and Robert has recently been approved!
It's called The Amen Clinic - https://www.amenclinics.com/
From the website: At Amen Clinics, we specialize in an innovative brain-body approach to diagnosis and treatment planning for a wide array of emotional, behavioral, learning, cognitive, and weight issues for children, teenagers, and adults. The Amen Clinic's approach is a multi-modal approach to treatment that uncovers the root cause of your issues or challenges that are not discovered by traditional psychiatry. We believe it is critical to look at your brain within the context of your life, which includes biological, psychological, social, and spiritual influences.
Because of their forward-thinking approach, including medical and holistic treatments, insurance will NOT cover it. Robert will need to be sedated for all of the scans and will also need more extensive metabolic testing.
The total cost will be about $8,000.
With the accumulation of previous medical bills and holistic treatments, The Amen Clinic cannot be an option for Robert due to the high cost.
Would you please consider donating to this family so this sweet boy can get the treatment he needs before more time passes? Robert deserves a chance to have the opportunity to verbally communicate all the amazing things going on in his brain. Bob & Betty deserve to fully get to know their son. Although this treatment does not promise a cure, the success rate with The Amen Clinic far surpasses many of the other options available and has become an answer to the many prayers of other families.
