This is on behalf of my dearest friend of over 30 years and her family.

She lost her husband that she’s been with for 30 years (married for 22, which they just celebrated one week before), the children lost their father who they absolutely loved and adored and his mother lost her only son. He was an amazing father and loving husband and son. Unfortunately they weren’t prepared for any of this, they have no life insurance, no 401 k and no savings. She is now left alone to care for her 14 yr. old daughter, her 9 yr. old little boy with Down Syndrome and her elderly 82 yr. old mother in law. She has been struggling with her own health issues for years.

They need to raise enough money to move out of their home that she can no longer afford to stay in. She’s also trying to figure out the end of life expenses, burial and memorial. I’m watching her try and hold it together for her children and mother-in -law and it’s heart wrenching to watch her go through this. They are “Good people”! This is so tragic and sad.
