Robert E. Brock Jr. Memorial Fund
The passing of a good man.
It is with deep sadness that we must share the passing of Robert (Bobby) Elbert Brock, Jr. What has happened is beyond comprehension, due to the sudden turn of his health, and we are still in shock.
On June 10th, Bobby passed away from Diabetic complications while being treated at Wayne Beaumont Hospital where he had been admitted for seizures related to un-diagnosed Diabetes. During a week-long battle, including a massive heart attack and multiple organ failure, Bobby battled for his life before finally passing. A fighter right to his last breath.
Bob was Married to Dorothy for 50 years and together they raised three sons: Jimmy, Nicholas and Daryl. He was a loving Grandfather to 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Bobby lived a simple life. He never had much, but what Bob had, he shared freely with his family and his friends. He was passionate about music and loved to play the guitar. Bob was also passionate about the world around him and would argue with you over any topic you would like, just for the entertainment and conversation.
Bob comes from a large family and is survived by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. His entire family will miss him.
GoFundMe: For Bobby's Widow Dorothy
Bob and Dorothy lived on small social security checks and Medicare for medical bills (they could not afford supplemental insurance such as BC/BS). Bobby did not they could afford to see the Dr.s, which is why he ignored his symptoms until he fell to the floor and had a seizure leading to the Diabetic coma that followed. He would never regain consciousness, not even to say goodbye.
Dorothy does not know how she is going to manage without help. She lives in a very modest mobile home, has an older car and has been helping her son Daryl, who had a heart attack and two strokes this year. Household bills were already piling up and now she is facing the medical bills and the expenses related to Bobs memorial.
Thank you for your prayers and for your donations. God Bless.
