Its with a heavy heart that I am even having to write something like this or even to remotely do this for my husband Robert "Doc" Halliday. We have been married for 40 years we build an amazing life together. Lived in Germany while he was deployed than moved to Georgia. He served in the 25th Infantry ARMY from 1966-1970. He has received 4 purple hearts and 4 silver stars along with many other awards. During his time in Vietnam he was captured leaving him POW and MIA for about 6months. He served his country with his brothers and sisters. He is the countrys definition of TRUE AMERICAN HERO! He has 3 grandkids, Elsa, Analynn and Santana in which he loves very much. We have a daughter Ashley.
Doc has passed and is no longer suffering from PTSD, Parkinson's, and COPD. God called him home on 11/11/2021 @11:11 am. I was told that I am having to pay for his funeral service and we are having a really hard time with the army about his proper Home going and I am asking if anyone can help me give my husband his last wishes I will be so honored as he would be to.
