Robert Dapson healing fund

We would like to reach out to friends, family and the volleyball community to help support an incredible person and family!  Robert Dapson has been reffing in our volleyball community for many years and his Daughter has also joined him.  This job can be thankless and rewarding all in the same game.  Robert has been battling  effects from Covid 19 for several months now and we would like to help show him some great support and just how awesome the Volleyball community pulls together to help those in need.  Below is a small fraction of what he has been dealing with.  Consider sending any amount! We do love our refs and care for them greatly!

On April 5th, Robert was feeling sick. He was home with a 106 fever. 3 days later he tested positive with COVID.  It took 3 weeks to recover from that. Then on April 26th he woke coughing like crazy and spitting up blood.  His wife called 911 at that point because they knew something wasn't right.  Once he got to the hospital by ambulance Robert was diagnosed with 2 collapsed lungs due to the damage  COVID had done. He had two chest tubes placed one for each lung to help expand his lungs again. He spent a total of 24 days in the hospital and during that stay, had a Bronchoscopy dome in his right lung to place two valves in to help close two small holes in the lung. Robert lost 35 pounds during this and is still on oxygen. While he is at home recovering he has a long road ahead.
