My boyfriend Robert suffered an unfortunate accident on Thursday night and ended up with second and third degree burns on his hands and legs. It was a freak accident as he was trying to prepare himself for a welding test for a welding job the next day.  Robert has been fortunate enough to make a living as a self-employed mechanic and has been working towards getting a race shop opened up. He will undergo surgery tomorrow and have an extensive healing process here in UC Davis. I am just trying to reach out and look for any financial support if anyone could offer it so he doesn’t not have any added stress while he is recovering from surgery. I want him to be as healthy as possible and ease the healing process by taking away any worries he has beyond what he is already going through. I know he and I would appreciate any support he can get to make it through these next few months. It has been so hard for him to catch a break and even the day before this incident he had to give up a car he loved so dearly and modified and built for so long because of a modified exhaust ticket that would ultimately get his car taken away. I am trying to cover the costs of registering his new vehicle, keeping up with his insurance, and staying on top of his regular monthly bills to avoid any penalties.
