We are a group of friends that care deeply about the future of Robert's family.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Clarke, affectionately known as the "Living Truth" and a true fishing legend, on September 29, 2025. Robert died of a massive heart attack while fishing on the McLeod River with his son, Ben, doing what he loved.

Robert lived for his family, his wife, Jenny, son, Ben, and daughter, Meikayla, were his world. Those who knew Robert understood his deep love and dedication to them, and the loss they are experiencing is immeasurable. They find some comfort in knowing he passed while engaged in his passion.

As the manager of the Fishing Hole at the South location in Edmonton, Robert was an avid fisherman, a skilled guide, and one of Western Canada's finest fly tiers. His commitment to his craft earned him immense respect within the fishing community, and his extensive knowledge even led him to speak on CBC Radio about fishing.

Beyond his professional life, Robert was a beacon of light in his community, serving as a condo board member and a devoted friend to many. He was known for his warm greetings and ever-present smile.
