We are climbing Ben Nevis on Saturday 12th June in memory of Robert Chebe who died at the age of 23 years old after going through a short spell of mental illness. Robert was a fun-loving gentle guy who loved socialising with his friends and family. He loved keeping fit by going to the gym, training at the boxing club, playing football with his pals and cycling his bike. There is a huge hole in our hearts and he will be forever missed.
We are fundraising for the Robert Chebe Foundation which is dedicated to supporting the mental wellbeing of children and young people in Scotland and Ghana through sports. The money raised for this climb will be donated to local sports clubs which are vital for the health and wellbeing of our youth especially during these difficult times.
