It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Chavira.

 

He survived by his wife of 27 years Ruby Ocampo Chavira, his children, Julia Chavira and Robert Chavira JR, and Sister Melissa. Please extend your prayers and love over the Chavira Family.

 

Robert Chavira is now in Heaven and is no longer in pain. He was known by many in our small town of Los Fresnos. He either coached you, your kid or a relative that played baseball or softball for the Los Fresnos Little League. He was a hard worker for the City of Brownsville for many years. He was also well known for his late night BBQ’s, Backyard Tejano Dance Parties, His Infectious Smile, and Golden Heart.

 

Our family has lost a good one to soon, Robert we will forever hold you in our hearts and cherish our memories of you!
