Support for Baby Bo’s Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On February 9th Robert & Carmel welcomed their lovely baby boy, Bo, into the world. It was quite the scary start, with meconium in the amniotic fluid and the cord wrapped around his little neck twice. He needed to be resuscitated and sent to the NICU, where he was intubated, cooled, and treated to prevent seizures. He has since had the breathing tube removed, been re-warmed, and is slowly having all the tubes and wires removed. The past 11 days have been quite an emotional roller coaster, but Bo has been improving every day with the help of an amazing medical team and prayers from so so so many people.
His traumatic entry banged Carmel up too, and so she also had an extended stay and extra healing to do. Robert has been commuting back and forth between Missoula and home to be with Carmel and Bo.
During this time, any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated. This traumatic experience has left them exhausted, with heavy medical bills, and more to come. Bo will be going home soon, but is scheduled for ongoing follow up and monitoring as well as continued treatment at home. Any donation amount will help immensely to lightening their burden during this time. Funds will be used to help with medical bills and expenses related to the extended NICU stay.
Please say a prayer for continued healing!
