Robert Brannigan, 14, Brain Cancer Battle

It is with a heavy heart that we are asking for your donations for the son of Jeanette Donovan, a 17-year member of our Revco family, who is currently battling brain Cancer.

After an appointment with Dr Barb Horn, Robbie was taken to the ER where three masses were found in his brain. He was sent by ambulance to MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, where he was diagnosed with Germinoma, a highly treatable cancer.

Currently, Robbie is unable to see, but he is beginning the first round of Chemo in March, followed by radiation treatment. His doctors have not determined how many rounds of Chemotherapy Robbie will need before his radiation treatments. Proton radiation, which has been advised as the best treatment, is not yet available in his current hospital, and the family will have to travel to Jacksonville, Florida.

We are hoping to help with the many expenses Jeanette and her family will incur, such as copays for doctor visits and medication, as well as travel expenses and medical equipment needed in the home.
