On January 30th, Robert Bowman passed away unexpectedly. He was a loving husband to Cara for almost 40 years and a wonderful dad to his two children, Nick and Mira.
He was fortunate enough to see his children grow into adulthood and find happiness and love, as well as to meet his first grandchild.
He played bass trombone and was personnel manager in the North Oakland Concert Band. He was an avid sailor, sailing the waters of Michigan and Canada as often as the weather allowed. He also enjoyed cheering for the Lake Orion High School wrestling team. He was a friend to so many, forming quick but lasting bonds in every community he was involved in.
His kindness, generosity, and easy-going nature were boons to all who knew him, expecially the loved ones he leaves behind.
This fund was created to support his wife Cara in helping to pay for the final expenses, resolve loose ends, and support her relocation to Arizona where she can be with her children and grandchild.
