In memory of Robert Dale Beckstead II

Hello, my name is Aaron 'Oeightyfour' Beckstead and I've set this GoFundMe up for my family in this time of need.

On Sunday, January 1st, 2023 - my older brother, Robert 'Bobby' Beckstead, was taken into the ER after having to be resuscitated by the ambulance that was called. He walked into the kitchen, speaking with our stepfather for a moment before dropping onto the ground. After coding other times in the ER before being able to 'stabilize' him to move to the ICU, he was then in a coma before other tests could be done.

He passed away on Monday January 9, 2023.

He was living with my parents at their house - helping out with bills and working full-time with my mother and my little brother. Even with myself and my little brother in the picture; Robert was still going to always be my mother's "baby" - as he was her firstborn; so my mother didn't mind him living there. She loved him, as she loves us all. A little over a year prior my stepfather was diagnosed with cancer and was unable to continue working a job - so my mother and brothers were the only ones with full-time jobs in the house at this time.

This was a very unexpected incident and a very rough way to start a brand new year off. This was my older brother - we weren't insanely close as we got older, but we once we were - with only a four-year age gap. We grew up playing outside, playing games, and even going to concerts in my early teenage years together. My brother was helpful when needed; very knowledgeable in technology and computers - and would help all the time when I had computer issues or things that needed fixed/cleaned up on any laptops, internet/wireless issues, etc. He loved music and movies, as well as gaming. He was a bit of a packrat, but hey if you needed to find a random movie or album - he probably had it laying around.

I have started this GoFundMe to help with any and all bills involving his passing, and hopefully to provide some more downtime for my mother from having to go right back to work too soon after all this settles. We have all shed our tears and spent time by his hospital bedside; no matter hard it is to post all this - we ask you to help however you might be able to.

We ask of you who pray, please keep my brother and parents in your thoughts and prayers in this rough time.
