Fundraiser forFuneral expenses for Robert A. Jones

Hi I’m Amira James, Robert Jones daughter. 

About 4 years ago I drove from Norfolk, VA to Chicago.IL to get my father. He was in a nursing home and we wanted to give him a better quality of life. We were excited he was coming to live with us and even more excited that he would be able to see his grandchildren everyday. 

Yamina, Brandon, Amir (13), and Quinn (4) enjoyed having their granddad with them. And Quinn told everyone he was her best friend. 

Robert never met a stranger. He was a gentle, friendly person. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, and accepted all friends as family. He will be greatly missed. 

Dads passing was entirely too soon.  Dad had heart surgery Sunday. It was successful and he did well at first. Then the secondary symptoms began and after 4 days of fighting, I received a call at 7:07 am 9-25-2020 that my dad had passed away. 

This fundraiser is to help for funeral+ expenses as Robert didn’t have any life insurance.
