Rob dogs Melanoma Cancer Fund

Rob is currently diagnosed with Stage 4 melanoma cancer. Unfortantely, due to his illness and condition at this time it has made him unable to work making it difficult to cover rent, living expenses and the ongoing medical bills.
It would be of great appreciation if you could lend a helping hand and help donate some money to support Rob during this unforeseen time.
Rob was diagnosed in late August 2016 with STAGE 3 melanoma cancer which are tumours that have spread to regional lymph nodes and is isolated to one area of the body. The tumour that have been discovered on Rob was located in his right armpit.
Subsequantly, he undertook medical trials with the melanoma institute of Australia, from September 2016 using a new targeted therapy drug. In mid February 2017, he underwent surgery to remove the tumour and the lymph nodes of his right arm pit. The surgery was a success and we were informed that the cancer was all clear.
In March, Rob underwent further scans and tests and unfortunately another tumour was discovered on the brain. We were also informed that the cancer has now advanced to STAGE 4 melonoma or metastatic melanoma. This means that the cells have now spread to areas far from the original site, or to other internal organs in the body. The lungs, liver, bones, brain, stomach or abdomen are areas in the body where melanoma tends to spread after.
As a result, he was placed on further targeted therapy and also immunotherapy with the aim to block the effects of the BRAF mutation and reduce the growth of the melanoma tumour. At the end of April, Rob was then adviced to undergo brain surgery to remove the tumour. The surgery was a success and he is now continuing with the targeted therapy medication, monthly scans and blood tests, hoping that no further tumours will arise.
