Robbie’s Road to Recovery—Every Dollar Helps
Donation protected
On May 17th, 2025, my mother’s life changed forever.
Robbie Young is a sister of 12, a mother of 2, a grandmother of 5, and a great-grandmother of 5. She has been a waitress at the Brown Bag in Henderson, KY for many years and has touched the lives of many with her charm and witty humor. She has expressed on countless occasions how her customers have also touched and changed her life—developing new friendships and strengthening those she’s had for years. Her smile and cheerful personality bring light to the day of many. She enjoys spending her spare time with family, her boyfriend John, and his family—vacationing and going on fishing trips in Florida.
Regrettably, she suffered two massive strokes on May 17th, affecting her motor skills and ability to speak. This means she will no longer be able to work and will need several months of therapies to regain some of the functionality she once had (if she is able to regain functionality at all).
I am respectfully asking for any assistance possible with paying her rent and utilities during this time. I have estimated her bills to be around $1,000 per month. I believe a minimum of $4,000 should be enough to cover her bills while she navigates her recovery process. Any help is greatly appreciated. God bless you all, and I am forever grateful for any assistance you can provide.
