Robbie Motes Family House Fire

Partners –
This past weekend one of our McCarthy Craft Partners, Robbie Motes, suffered a total loss to his home when it caught fire. Thankfully Robbie and his son were able to get out of the house safely while his wife was at work on Friday Night. However, Robbie and his family lost just about everything they owned. Robbie and his Family are currently staying at a family members camper while he works through the insurance cycle to recover what they can.
Robbie has been with us since 2022 on the Piedmont Cartersville project. He is a great guy and hard-working man, who shows up and does everything asked of him so he can support his family with a great attitude.
In the spirit of Craft appreciation week this week and to help a genuine partner, I am starting a Go Fund Me for Robbie and his family to help bridge the gap as much possible between now and when he gets back on his feet so that Robbie can continue to provide as much as possible some semblance of normalcy after this tragic event.
He wouldn’t ask for a penny from anyone, but I know that any amount that you can give to help him, and his family would be greatly appreciated and go to use for clothes, food, school supplies, household items, etc. The list is far too long when you think of all the things you would lose if your house caught on fire. The most important thing is that he and his family are safe and unharmed, and I am grateful for that, but sometimes the phycological toll can be just as harmful and I hope that this small token of appreciation for he and his family to help ease that burden.
If you would like more information, please feel free to contact Jamie Phillips, Drew Hoffman, or Greg Willingham.
