Robbie & Melissa Chrismer Hurricane Relief Fund

Hello friends and family,

We are putting this GofundMe together to help Robert and Melissa Chrismer. Their Pine Island home was directly impacted by Hurricane Ian.

Many of you know Robbie and Melissa as the previous owners of The Crooked Chicken Ranch. They have been a large part of the Tampa Bay music community for decades, having connected so many people through music at their property.

They bought their current home on Pine Island last year. Hurricane Ian made landfall directly where they are located. Much of Pine Island has been decimated, as the area was impacted with 200 mph gusts and many hours of Category 4 hurricane winds.

Robbie and Melissa are grateful that their home is still standing. They fared well compared to many people living on Pine Island. Thankfully, their house was built on stilts. Most of the damage is to the area underneath the house, which they built out as an entertaining area.

There are major cost considerations involved in maintaining their household while the area is rebuilding. It is going to be an estimated six weeks before electricity is available to the residents. That means a generator will be required to keep the household running.

Running a generator, even while choosing to run it sparingly, is very expensive. They will also need to purchase ice almost daily in order to ensure safe food storage.

This gofundme is being created to help keep their household moving. Please consider donating and/or please share this campaign.

Robbie and Melissa are very involved in the relief efforts that are being coordinated in the area. They are both active leadership-level members of the local American Legion. If there are any left-over funds from this gofundme, once they are back up and running, they will be donating those funds to the relief efforts the American Legion is coordinating.
