Robbie Groves Wolfdog Memorial

After the sudden and tragic loss of their father, Robert (Robbie) Groves, my friends and step sons, Robert “Sebastian” and Gabriel Lynn Groves are left with the great responsibility of caring for their father’s wolfdog pack and need your immediate help.

Robbie has always been an avid wolf lover and was raising three young mid and high content wolf dogs in a special wolfdog containment at his residence in Smackover, Arkansas before his untimely death. A wolfdog is a dog with recent wolf heritage making them exotic pets with special requirements. Rob’s wolf pack; Benjen, Ghost, & Aya are now all alone and in need of immediate rescue.

To rescue Robbie’s pack required special fencing will be costly in order to properly secure, contain, and ensure their safety. Mid and high content wolfdogs are known to escape and hunt livestock and this is unfortunately already happening now in Arkansas since Robbie’s passing January 31. These mid and high content wolfdogs also require costly care as they can be master escape artists even in zoo-like confinement, have special dietary requirements and eat both raw meats and high quality dog food daily, and need the same annual veterinary care as domestic dogs.

Robbie’s eldest son, Sebastian and wife, Deanna Groves plan to transport the wolfdog pack to their home as soon as they can fund and build a proper sanctuary. This includes fencing adequate land, building a large housing, vetting, and food supply for all three wolfdogs. Sebastian and his wife are young newlyweds and cannot fund this alone therefore we are asking all of Robbie’s generous family, friends, acquaintances, and mutual wolf lovers to help them get these pups to a safe and secure relocation that will serve as their new wolfdog containment in Robbie’s honor.

So many of you have reached out to me, his sons, his family asking what you could do to help; this is what led me to the idea of a gofundme. Robbie was taken at the young age of 42 and his children have a great responsibility to handle his affairs and care for his wolfdogs and they need our help. As of today no services have been planned and in accordance with Robbie’s wishes a private service will be conducted for him at Caddo Lake on a later date. But today, we need you to donate in his honor and help his sons rescue and adopt his Wolfpack.

We ensure 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Wolfdogs of Robbie Groves.
