*** An update from Monique, Robbie has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma stage 4 and as he navigates through his treatment he is meeting with challenges everyday. We are endeavoring to keep him comfortable and safe.

Update on Robbie, He has been transferred to Greenslopes hospital after his second operation, for the start of his 6 week treatment. He still has a very long road to travel, but we are all optimistic that Robbie will respond well to treatment.

We have created this go fund me page in support of Robert Byrne, We are fundraising to assist Robbie and his Family with any medical costs while Robbie undergoes a lengthy journey of treatment and recovery.

Robert Byrne, or "Rocket" to his mates, is a devoted father, hard working, caring family man, who is always there for his family and friends. He is the type of bloke that would give you the shirt off his own back.

Rocket is also a valued member of the United Petroleum team. He has been in the fuel industry with UPT for 5 1/2 years. Rocket, we wish you a speedy recovery.

Robbie started experiencing lapse of memory going into his Christmas Holidays. Monique put it down to stress of the end of year etc. During his time off, Monique noticed more cognitive issues arise. Robbie knew what he was trying to say but couldn't get some words out. After going to GP and being referred to specialist we discovered Robbie has 2 malignant tumors.

Robbie has to undergo multiple operations over the coming weeks, to remove 2 tumor's followed further treatment by means of Chemo/Radium therapy.

We would like to reach far and wide, to raise as much as possible for this absolute legend and his family.

Robbie has a very long road to recovery, and we hope to help reduce the added stress of finding the additional costs for medical expenses.
