My name is Michelle Tapia, and I am creating this fundraiser to help my friend Gloria Vigil and her business partner Jeff Jaramillo recover from a devastating break-in at their shop in Santa Fe, NM sometime in the night of Saturday September 11th, 2022. The thief/thieves stole thousands of dollars in raw materials (silver, gold, stones, etc.) along with most of the jewelry in the showcases. This amount does not come even close to covering the loss, but it will help to cover some of the cost of damages, and purchase of new materials. Both Gloria and Jeff have worked most of their lives to get to the point of opening their own shop. This loss has been devastating to their sense of security and business.
