Hi guys, maybe you know my work as you are here, so lets start what happened and I give a short intro at the end about me in case if you dont know my work. So I was on the way to the Wabba Universe to Salou two days ago, 16th Nov 2025. From the Barcelona airport took the train to Sants with a connection to Salou. At the train a guy came and sit in front of me. after 5 minutes he left, the train was still on the station. Another guy came, sitting the same place, while he was talking with somebody, probably in arabic. My two photo bags and my coat was above me where usually people put the luggage. He was putting his backpack also. Asking me direction regarding the next stations. Just before Sants he was standing up and took his backpack, standing in the open door, looking at me and when the train door was almost closed he exit. One station before my destination. I thought that was strange, why he was looking at me before leaving the train. My station was the next, when I took down my big backpack I realised the other is missing. Well, everything was in it: Sony Alpha 7 IV, two Sony lenses (35mm 1.4 , 85 mm 1.8), VR camera, external drives with recent shootings, extra batteries, my wallet, passport, all IDs, all credit cards, key, etc. In retrospect what could have happened is one guy was kind of scouting the situation first, after he was in contact with the other one. The other had a packpack which was actually empty. I have no idea how, but my photo bag ended up in his backpack, before he left he put it within 3 seconds into his bag before take down his bag from top. So I ended up in Barcelona with my phone only. With the help of people from police, train staff, Rayanair stuff and the embassy I was able to fly late night without documentation and got some money from an amazing person on the airport too.
