Rob Totoonchie Recovery Support
Our dear Rob’s body was crushed Saturday night (October 26th) by a fallen tree branch while camping up North when a limb snapped in the wind and fell on him in his tent. He was lifeflighted to the ICU in Redding with a punctured lung, ruptured liver, and many broken ribs. He’s ok for now, his liver has at the moment stoped bleeding, and he’s getting support in breathing with his ruptured lung.
Lars Ortegren has created a FB group of close friends to communicate updates and needs he’ll have on his path to recovery. Please look for that and request to join. It's called "Rob's Homies of Support" (FB won't give me a link to post here).
As with any welcome medical interventions in this country, we are pretty sure this is going to be expensive for him. If you adore that snarky, sweet, loving friend as much as we do, consider throwing him a bone. Any amount will help. And if you do things like pray, or send healing vibes, or hold people in your thoughts, add our beloved Ashé (Rob's hippy nickname) to that list. Hopefully, we will have him back in no time.
