On April 18th, we were forced to say goodbye to our dear friend Robert Tortora. He was a bright light and a warm smile to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He always gave without any concern for what he would get in return, he always had time for a hug and he always finished a conversation by saying "I love you". Those that knew and loved Rob are devastated by this news. As we search for answers and wrestle with our grief, we must also think of Rob's mother and sisters. They must now plan and pay for a memorial service for their beloved Rob.
The sole purpose of this GoFundMe is to alleviate the financial stresses of Rob's memorial for his family. 100% of the proceeds will go to Rob's family to assist with these costs.
We would ALL give anything to have one more conversation, hug, laugh with our dear friend. However, the best way to honor him is to do what he would do. Help those who need it most and give without asking anything in return.
