Rob Radak Leukemia Fund
Donation protected
Most of you know that our Dad, Rob Radak, was diagnosed with Leukemia AML on September 14th.
Leukemia AML is a rare, rapid, and aggressive cancer. But, with all the advances in modern medicine, combined with our dads cowboy mentality, we are all very optimistic that he will win this fight!
He was transfered from Erie, PA to The James Cancer Hospital at OSU on September 15th. The James is one of the largest cancer hospitals in the United States, and we are so lucky that its close to home too. We know he is going to get the best care, and in turn be given the best chance.
Today is day one of chemo. He will have 5 days of IV drip chemo and then 10 days of oral chemotherapy.
We are asking for donations to help cover medical expenses and lost wages. As we all know, on the race track, if you dont work, you don't get paid. We hope to take some stress off of of him and our mom financially, and just let them face this with one less thing to worry about!
And yes, this fundraiser is against their wishes. But, I believe its best to sometimes ask for forgiveness, rather than permission, and this is one of those cases.
They'd expect nothing less from their oldest, most stubborn redheaded daughter, afterall.
Thank you all so much for your continued kind words and show of love and support! We really do appreciate each and every one of you!
