Rob Parks Memorial Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know, our beloved friend, colleague and mentor Rob Parks was diagnosed with and treated for melanoma six years ago and has been in remission since then. In early March, after several days of chronic nausea, many doctor visits, and no relief, it was decided that an MRI and CT scan were needed to diagnose his condition. These scans revealed that his cancer had not only returned but spread drastically. He began treatment with both radiation and immunotherapy. Although initial treatments looked to be working, the cancer flared up suddenly in the past two weeks. On Sunday, June 12, he passed peacefully with his wife by his side. His passing was sudden, leaving his family no time to plan for their challenging future without him.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda, and three daughters, Arianna, 20, Adelyn, 15, and Ava, 9. This will be a difficult financial time for Belinda. This fund will help his family in the wake of this terrible loss and deal with the innumerable challenges that lay ahead.
In final conversations with Rob, he made it clear that his primary concerns were for his family and that they would be taken care of in his absence. Please consider donating to help the family of this great man whom we all love so dearly.
