Rob Jepsen's Rocking Memorial

Hi Everyone,

As you all know by now our beloved friend and brother, Robert Jepsen, passed away last year. You also know that he was a musician, a drummer, and a creative leader in the community he lived in all his life. There was still so much music he had to make, so many beats he had left to play.

In honor of his spirit and as a tribute to his legacy and his community we are putting on a free concert this Summer at Herman’s Hideaway, a favorite spot of Rob’s, and a staple venue of the Denver Metal Scene.

Five bands are committed to play and we’re looking to nail down a date sometime in June.

That’s where you come in!

We want to make this show free for all, which means we need to raise $4000 to help cover the costs. This will cover the hall rental fee ($2500), which will pay for the hall, the staff, and all the technical assistance we need to put on the show. It will also cover the cost of posters and flyers to get the word out. That’s right, we want this to be a real rock concert!

The money we raise will also allow us to pay the bands something to help offset the cost of travel and all the work they’re putting in to make this a great show. All additional funds will be donated to local charities in addiction services and youth music education.

Rob was taken from us too early, and there was so much left he wanted to do. Putting this event together, we have the chance to make something he would have loved, and loved being part of. We’re excited to have the opportunity to gather Denverites and friends around the country together for music, memories, and a chance to rock out.
