Rob Jankowski Memorial Service

My name is Courtney Darrough. I am raising money for a Memorial Service/ luncheon for our friend Rob Jankowski. This will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1:00pm-6:00pm at the Ventura Moose Lodge, in the Fireside Room.  Doors open at 1:00pm, formal services begin at 2:00pm (The lodge is located at 10269 Telephone Road, Ventura, CA 93004). This service will be open to the public, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Rob had many many friends, and his enthusiasm was contagious! He would do anything for anyone, and was very generous with his time.

Rob passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. We are working together with others to give him a proper send off. There will be a potluck buffet directly after the formal service, so please bring a dish to share if possible. There will also be a Tri Tip and Chicken BBQ happening outside which will be included. We have a DJ to fill in before and after the formal service, and a Live Reggae Band (One of Rob's favorites), will be performing @ 3:30pm on the patio. The outdoor cash bar will be open until 6:00pm.  In addition, an additional large adjoining patio will be open as well throughout the event for optional outdoor seating and Cornhole games etc.. The Moose Lodge is generously donating the Fireside room/patio for the service, but we need to ask for small donations in order to have the Reverend come in and conduct the formal part of the Memorial Service itself. In addition, there are some other small costs involved. We're asking friends to please chip in what they can so that everything can be covered without causing a burden to anyone. Any proceeds left over will be donated to the Ventura Moose Lodge which Rob loved, and was a long time member. Thank you for your support! Hope to see you all there!
