Hi, I'm Rob! I'm a 45-year-old dad in recovery. I have almost a year sober. I just rented a beautiful 2-bedroom trailer, and my 14-year-old son is soon moving in with me. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago, I got 2 DUIs, and I'm just now handling my consequences. I am in DUI wellness court. If you don't know what that is, it's an intense program of complete abstinence. I take random drug tests daily, see my PO bi-weekly, and see a judge and panel every 3 weeks, as well as attend AA meetings.

I made this GoFundMe because I am in need of a reliable e-bike for transportation. I just started a new job that's about 5 miles from my house. I'm being donated a bike today, which helps me get to and from work. Unfortunately, I have no one to rely on to get me into the city to take my tests on any given day, and I have to do them before work. I can't afford an Uber as it's 23 bucks each way when I take my tests and see my PO and counselors. A cheap e-bike is around 4 or 5 hundred, which I'm fine with if that's what I raise. The one I'd like that has big tires and better long-travel stability is around 8 or 9 hundred. My license is suspended until 2027, so I need something good and reliable. With all the new bills and rent, I just can't afford one. So if you wanna help a guy fighting for his sobriety, I'm your guy.
