Robbie Hanley was diagnosed with an incurable bleeding disorder called ITP as a toddler. In 2016, during his mid 20s, he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in his frontal lobe.

Robbie maintained a positive, humorous and light hearted attitude about his condition, and despite his optimism and several years of treatment, he acutely lost his vision when the tumor pressed on his optic nerve. Within minutes, he suffered a seizure that resulted in a dangerous brain hemorrhage due to the bleeding disorder.  After a craniotomy August 29th, Robbie's pupils were unresponsive until loved ones spoke to him about his 3 year old daughter, Ophelia.



Despite being in a medically induced coma, Robbie responded to the voices of his loved ones and hearing the name of his little girl. 

Before the seizure, Robbie was a promising chef hoping to become general manager of a restaurant. Now,  Robbie faces a lifetime of difficulty after these procedures, and the funds raised by this campaign will help support him as a young father caring for a beautiful little girl.

Due to the current pandemic, there are very little accomodation options for his family anxiously standing by, and they are coping with the enormous expense of life in hotel rooms for an unforeseeable future. 

All funds raised in this campaign will go to helping immediate family who are standing by to support Robbie in these critical moments, and the support of his baby girl Ophelia.

No matter the outcome, the family of Robbie Hanley will have to confront a life forever changed by these events. Robbie has never given up - he is still fighting for his life and he deserves us to fight with him.
